I have wagered on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
